The new IPP enables people to clearly identify if they want to work. Everyone who wants to work should have a chance to do that! California can do better in making this happen. We want your input about what you need to explore different options and to get and keep a job! Two opportunities to tell us what you need are described below.

The Quality Incentive Program has Employment Measures
The Quality Incentive Program (QIP) offers service providers the opportunity to earn a portion of their rates by participating in various reporting measures. You can learn more about the QIP on the Department’s website.
One area of focus for the QIP is employment.
At the QIP workgroup meeting on September 15, 2025, the group reviewed the upcoming employment reporting measure which will affect the rates of employment providers in fiscal year (FY) 2026-27. The reporting measure will ask providers to report on the number and portion of staff who have completed employment specialist training and to report on the number of job placements and milestones achieved by individuals served.
Watch the September 15 full QIP Workgroup meeting recording. The presentation slides are also available in Spanish.
The next full QIP Workgroup meeting is scheduled for December 15, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Look for information about the meeting and how to register for it on the Stakeholder Events webpage closer to that date!
